Aztec Minerals Corp V.AZT

Alternate Symbol(s):  AZZTF

Aztec Minerals Corp. is a mineral exploration company, which is focused on two emerging discoveries in North America. Its projects include Cervantes Project and Tombstone Project. The Cervantes project is a highly prospective porphyry gold-copper property located in southeastern Sonora state, Mexico. The project lies 160 kilometers (km) east of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico within the prolific Laramide porphyry copper belt over 265 km southeast of the Cananea porphyry copper-molybdenum mine (Grupo Mexico). Cervantes also lies along an east-west trending gold belt 60 km west of the Mulatos epithermal gold mine (Alamos Gold), 35 km northeast of the Osisko Development San Antonio gold mine, 45 km west of the La India mine (Agnico Eagle), and 40 km northwest of Santana gold deposit (Minera Alamos). It holds a 75% interest in the Tombstone Property Joint Venture. The Tombstone project is an emerging gold-silver discovery with high grade CRD silver-lead-zinc potential in southern Arizona.

Webinar today @ 1PM ET. Au just regained $1,900 handle!

Must have been a few factors coming together yesterday to produce that unjustifed selloff, followed by recovery.  Agreed on the backdrop of general PM apathy Gamer007.  Further, it could have been a mix of:
- Possible disappointment on hole TR20-01 east of the pit which did not intersect any alteration or mineralization (but may provide evidence of controlling structures?).  It would have been nice to hit something there but wouldn't read too much into that.
- Misplaced expectations of high silver grades. That would not make sense b/c the historic USMX grades were similar to what was just announced.  No surprise there, the value is in the Au rather than Ag.
-Stop losses may have been run.  Nanocaps and stop losses are a dangerous combo unless you want to give shares away.

Ideally management will soon supply a date to drill the CRD targets (October?) and have some announcements on Cervantes. Cervantes really should see some action concurrent with Tombstone, to take full advantage of the PM advance.

Aztec will host a webinar to discuss the company's recent results and current drill program. The webinar will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020, at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET). Management will be available to answer questions following the presentation.
