Believe it or not, I actually owned a Black and Tan coonhound when I was younger.  Stupidest dog I ever owned:  a quasi retarded beast connected to a nose which never left the ground.

Fortunately, one day it managed to sniff down a Go Train east of Toronto, and disappeared into a hundred pieces.  Saved me the cost of burying the thing.
