I watched an episode today which had a group of entrepreneurs pitching there product to the group of Shark Tank investors. They claimed to be a distruptor based on sales they are achieving. The # was great for a small business but Mark Cuban jumped in with this opinion.
Mark Cuban was annoyed about how the Entrepreneurs kept saying how they are disruptive. He basically said, you can't call your self a distruptor, pointing out then why aren't your sales significantly higher and most importantly......
If you are disuprupting the space, you dont say that it is.....only the industry will say you are the disruptor. Claiming to be a disruptor is pointless and trying to shift the audience into believing something you aren't.
Mark Cuban has a track record for taking companies to billion dollar valuations...tha't's right...multiple companies.....not just one. And of course he is involved in companies generating hundreds of millions and tens of millions. His credibility is high.
