RE:RE:RE:Solar & Wind There has been no takeover of the environmental movement by capitalism. That movement was always built within capitalism. Not many such movements (zero, to be precise) arise in fascist or communist countries. 

Since we live in a world of markets, environmental awareness has always recognized and been embedded in markets. That started with regulating markets (e.g., for air and water emissions) and moved toward using markets, such as for emissions trading.

The point made in the previous post, that fossil fuels will be around for a long long time, is true. But they may start being turned in H.

Solar and wind are indeed intermittant. To truly remake the energy system we need effective storage (new battery technology) and the ability to turn part of the electricity in H.
