Frontrunning????

Frontrunning????
OK - not exactly sure that's the right term but this is the second time recently when I've gone to hit the ask (and that order is definitely still there when i hit the confirm button)....the algo trading monkees are able remove that ask order - and move the bid higher than my (now) bid.

just now:

100 for sale at 31.96 - i place a 1000 limit order for 31.96 and click confirm.  normally i would instantly get those 100 shares and have 900 sitting there.  instead,  i have 1000 sitting at 31.96 and a new 100 algo bid at 31.97 and of course the ask has now moved up.  wtf?  twice is not some fluky concidence.  i understand some of those computerized trades - increased demand moves the algo price up but there is now way the order should be able to be pulled because someone sees an order coming - there is no way they should see an order coming.  imo.

And, yeah Ronnie, those in-house stockhouse posts if they have to exist, should be removed after a day or two....or be able to be filtered out.  especially annoying on bullboards with infrequent activity like this one.
