True ..... but KL is in a position to increase both dividends and share buy backs.

As a miner Makuch may see the logic in earmarking $100m for a JV of another companies property, but if that $100m was used as an increased dividend, then the SP increase may enable KL to buy outright 100% of another companies property with shares and use the cash retained to develop the project.

KL has tied up 75% of mkr's properties of interest at a short term cost of $1.5m, and depending on results as time progresses, further expenidtures to earn 75% go into the ground and not into mkr shareholders pockets. A fine way to control ground on the cheap.
