Most of the Multi State Operators, MSOs
Most of the Multi State Operators, MSOsare gaining a little support but I think Acreage could have done a better job of clarifying the schematic deal they have done with splitting the shares in anticipation of a "triggering event". The Acreage takeover by Canopy is the best kept secret, muddled in confusion the way it was designed with floating conditions that are a hard sell in this environment that potpreneurs find themselves in. The way I understand the revamped deal, I am going to be ok after the amalgamation but investing anymore into this to average down is a struggle for me because neither Acreage nor Canopy's IR department got back to me in regards to my e-mails asking for a projection based on current values, so I could understand what will happen if we get a descheduling or bank act that launches the US greenrush. I wish I had the confidence to double down at the lows that happened in the splitting stage of Acreage stock for which I plunked down almost 100k to be a part of. Publicly traded companies need to put shareholders first and this deal was more "creative" than it needed to be imho and Acreage and Canopy dropped the ball in keeping investors informed. At the lows of the stock splitting, I could see some serious value for brave investors to buy the Acreage and reap profits on Canopy which I think will get back to its former glory sharepricewise when the US comes to the party. It is a big picture story for world leadership and Canopy is making strategic moves to maintain that leadership position and they chose Acreage for US expansion. I see the stock market in general taking a serious correction when the fallout from Coronavirus slaps us in the face. As always, there are sectors that shine and I see golds and Marijuana giants doing well as the normal bluechips correct. I know that there are a ton of potpreneurs that are going to fail, so choose wisely if you are considering them as investments. The MSOs are bravely moving forward so I would start there but even some of them have suffered the indecision effect by regulators. The US policy and lawmakers have a chance to get it right and do Federal blanket legislation for their greenrush which would allow InterState transfer and centralized production. I also see infused beverages as being "disruptors" to Big Alcohol and they see it too, at least Constellation did and they bet $5 billion to be a part of it but we need a level playing field with Alcohol for it to happen. glta and dyodd
