Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Reality Check /Retail

Reality Check /Retail

2 years into legalization APHA has set themselves apart in consumers choosing Riff, Good Supply vapes and flower. The SP and profitability will come as ON continues expansion. To give an example of revenue one store which recently opened is doing $35,000 per day and sell much more APHA than the next LP. ON will continue opening 20-30 stores per month with current back log of 900 stores waiting to open.

Bottom line patience

My only comment on Irwin is his previous career was 25 years and sales were 2.2 billion in 2019 which he directed. Hopefully he won't follow the carnage of previous CEO's in this industry that enrich themselves and then errr retire

Good luck longs Retail Perspective tomorrow
