RE:Aphria conference call tidbits In my opinion, what did I say all this time? Only market worth even a glance of attention is the USA market, but what canadian ceo can travel to the states now with Covid and wants to take on the challenges of crossing the border for a federally illegal, state legal company/product. More production in Canada = more loss. All the LPs are operating at a loss by having a grow as the regulations/taxation was the worst forward thinking of a country I have ever seen, Canada only allowed LPs to combat the federal loss in court with the MMAR licensees, they needed to try and flood them out, boy, was that a bad gamble and a sucker move for LPs.

They had a nice increase in rec sales - but it was all from the initial distribution of bingo brand. So as the market grew - their core did't grow - they just captured more of the value segment.
As it relates to supreme - I think it bodes well that they grew market share, as well as the market grew - with the core vape/Flower - and they havn't even touched the value segment of the market yet...
noted irwin said pre-roll market is on "fire" - and low and behold supreme has a bunch of new pre-rolls in alberta.
100mil ATM they havn't used - but noted as on reserve for M and A - "if they have to make a payout for an aquisition"
(this would include a supreme - where a change in control would force a payment on the debs)
sounds like they have a lot of irons in the fire as it relates to USA - but won't pounce until legalization path is clear - which seems sensible.
Market leader in canada - but getting trashed today. analysts seemed to have a pretty negative tone/negative probing questions. really tough for sector.
