We got a fizzlewith a hint of sizzle. It looks like expectations are being met for Tinley Canada. Still some secrecy surrounding source suppliers but the gears are turning as far as licensing. Temper expectations for dealing with government regulators although there is an air of confidence that this is under control. Infused beverages are hot ticket items according to Canopy who got first strike advantage in Canada and are working hard at supplying the US through Canopy South aka Acreage Holdings through branded product agreements starting with cbd and Bio-Steel. I am highly optimistic that Tinley is going to kick azz on Canopy's offerings, most of which I have tried and found to be sorely lacking in flavour and effect. I will be following my local government store for arrival of Tinley products which I will buy because I still have some of Canopy's in my fridge while I contemplate the negative taste experience to salvage my investment in them. I'm not sure what we can expect by way of packaging in Canada or multipacks. I hope it comes in glass for a touch of class and not a benign black can with a bunch of warning labels. I hope our protectors of the people and regulators see the light as far as packaging, advertising ( at least on par with Big Alcohol) and posession limits which are strange and restrictive such that I asked for a six pack of an available product and couldn't legally get it at the government store. Canada has a lot of work to do for marijuana, mostly getting licenses for retailers but we do have interprovincial rules that allow transfer of centrally produced product. The US needs to make that an essential when they role out the great US greenrush. I have always said that quality and taste will win the race and there is a new contender in the chocks in Canada that I feel is going to show Canopy how good our management team is. Fingers crossed for clear sailing for our Canadian launch of Tinley. glta and dyodd
