RE:Thank you everyone

RE:Thank you everyone

Thank you, N00b! I think you did a great job!

CC Pharma was nagging me for about a week prior. Had an uneasy feeling on how they were doing with medicinal sales.

I was in Germany on business mid September and one of my friends had said that prescription were down, due to the pandemic. Unable to see a doctor and have it filled and it was well known throughout Germany that this was going on.

We all take calculated risks, thats life. You can only blame yourself and move on.

Happy I dumped my shares on the NASDAQ Monday. Still ended up in the green, but not bright green. Thanks to some good advise.

All the best in your next Venture!

My Q1 2020 Prediction Post :

https://stockhouse.com/companies/bullboard?symbol=t.apha&postid=31701595

I hope that everyone benefited from my Technical Analysis posts with charts or Due diligence posts. This is why I actively manage a percentage of my position because even if you do Due Diligence it doesn't mean that you will be right. Based on my Due Diligence  :

  • I predicted a 20% growth Quarter of over Quarter and we ended up having a 23% improvement.
  • I predicted that CC Pharma will remain the same so 99,137 M$ because that number covered a full quarter during the pandemic. Unfortunately, we got a bad surprise and CC Pharma reported 82,198 M$ , Almost 17 M$ difference
  • I predicted 163 M net revenues but we got 145,689 M $. If you add that 17M bad surprise difference it would be 162,689 so almost 163 M$

The goal of this post is not to make excuses or show you that I'm good at doing estimations, the goal is to remind everyone to always take money off the table to protect gains because as accurate as you can be with Due Diligence, you are not immune to bad surprises like CC Pharma today.

The stock market has no feelings, even if the Q results were good overall in my opinion, who cares if CC Pharma revenues declined, the most important indicator is recreational market share. 6th quarter in a row that we see growth, at this rate rec sales will be higher than CC Pharma.

Unfortunately, it is what it is, if you don't meet/beat analyst estimates even if you have good excuses, your share price will tank. Good news for people that are in for the long run, the company is improving every quarter.

Aphria was a good learning experience for me to learn Technical Analysis, Fundamental Analysis and risk management (taking money off the tablee). I may have exited Aphria with a loss overall but the knowledge I have now heading into my next adventure is priceless.

Thank you everyone again and good luck
