RE:RE:RE:Bombardier requests Quebec's SupportExactly; ensuring Bombardier gets industry competitive interest rates would help them financially and even if it would be one in disguise, it would not be seen as a grant. A direct grant from goverment would not be popular with the taxpayers; especially after the generous severance pay received by the leaving executives, and the performance premiums received last year.

Outside Quebec I wonder if there is some political gains to win by helping Bombardier. The professionnal politicians take this into account.
