The New Afton mine is located approximately 10 km west of Kamloops, approximately 350 km northeast of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Won't be getting into the specifics but I own both. There is no doubt in my mind that NGD.TO is a far superior play for the next year. They have done much in the past 6 months with postponing notes to selling Blackwater to soon becoming a free cashflow gold company.  AR.TO's merger with ALO.TO was a masterstroke but they they're not producing 450,000+ ounces per year. NGD is a relatively high cost producer so for years it did not recieve much love because they couldn't FCF. Starting in January they will be free cash flowing so they will get a rerate in advance of that happening (we are seeing that now as it is holding up better than other gold companies). In short, NGD is further along the curve than AR.TO. Like them both but for my money I have much more invested in NGD over AR. Hope this helps~
