RE:will Mackie Research put out a research report They may or may not. In fact, in theory, there is supposed to be a thick wall separating the investment banking side of the business from the analyst coverage side. (In practice, well, that's not necessarily the case.) The financing deal is supposed to have no bearing on analyst coverage. But my guess is they will cover in the end.
Part of Peter's rounds of meetings the past few weeks were about both financing and analyst coverage, with both firms that do both, and firms that only do coverage.
Coverage can start any day. Plenty of stocks on the Venture exchange are covered; the uplisting is not essential to coverage, though it certainly helps.
What helps more is the maturation of PYR's product offering. PYR made the rounds looking for coverage a few years ago and were denied. They simply didn't have enough of an offering prior, as the waste-gasification was not compelling enough in terms of competitive landscape and actual market size to monitor and cover. The torches and ESPECIALLY the nano powders are much more enticing to analysts.

if so, when do you think that would come out?...
I can see the Cantech Letter quoted their analyst several years ago, so maybe they would get some coverage there again...
I don't imagine it would happen right away, but let's say that maybe once the dust settles on the recent bought deal, the TSX uplisting is imminent (or in place), and perhaps a torch deal or other similar significant event has happened, then it sure would be of benefit to them and their clients to juice their returns with a $6, $7 or higher target don't ya think!?...
