RE:Global Warming?

Climate change is itself a natural occurrence but now exacerbated, alas, by pernicious human activity.  Its most disastrous affect is the unsustainable rise in sea temperature. Its brutality hits you in the face when you realize that it is impossible to swim in the !!! South Pacific !!! once the sun had risen.  This happened to us in Fiji on the island of Taveuni.in Feb 2016.  Two days after we flew out, the area was hit by  Cat 5 tropical cyclone Winston which destroyed many of the islands.

High sea temps are also devastating  coral.  Much of Great Barrier Reef has bleached. Last year a friend vacationing in Florida couldn't spend five minutes on the beach because the stench from decaying red tide etc was so nauseating.  I suspect the same phenom is now confronting the BC coast.  We need to bring the sea temp down a to a bearable norm.
Cheers
