Lol... I agree responding to Hawk is a waste of time and this is certainly not directed to him by any means. This is for the rest of us that must endure all of the garbage he spews and to add perspective to his life long dilemma. He finally let the cat out of the bag in terms of motivation for bashing $PR day in and day out.
Admitting he is committed heavily with Cresco says one thing. No shot to Creaco holders, but it is just another Cannabis LP state side. Doing well in the US within the legal states when facing minimal competition. Until Feds legalize. Then what? Same as what happened here, or even worse I anticipate.
When US federally legalizes it will no longer be competitive within states. It will be country wide competition. The market will experience mass saturation and your $10 stock today ends up looking like Aurora. Sorry for those still holding Aurora in their portfolio. I Once held it too. US has better business models in terms of branding and allowing companies to compete. This to some appears ruthless at times but it is business after all. Cresco will be competing with giants like Acreage Holdings. Good luck!
As for Cresco cashing in big up North. Uh with what? More cannabis? More vapes? More pre-rolls?
Cannabis LP days are over in Canada. If your not already one of the top three established LPs with edibles on the shelves, the game is over. Cresco has no hope in competing in Canada no matter how sweet Mindy Segal’s mints are or how puffy and tasty James Beard’s pastries turn out. More cannabis, doughnuts and gummies won’t be taking over up North. Especially not without APP!
I now understand his position of a non-position in $PR with a heavy committal to a potentially lamented stock come US federal legalization. It is natural to scratch at the ceiling as the water fills up.
If you are not involved with IB/$PR, APP could be viewed as a major threat. APP has the potential to disrupt many markets. It is obvious whom feels threatened on this board as it is displayed day in and day out.
So keep in mind when you ask questions about Cresco whom is answering the question and their motives. For some, to win means another must lose. When in reality someone does not need to lose in order for another to win. That’s how a fulfilled and satisfying life is succeeded. Some have a lot to learn, maybe too much for this lifetime.
Another great day!
