RE:RE:Realistic next steps....? Waitingstill
The Kaieteur News has alleged that CGX is a "micky mouse" player, incapable of drilling for oil, similar to fake oil companies such as the one Cullen and Dookie have used to covertly get oil blocks. And then reselling same to Exxon. GO BACK AND READ THE LINK!
Instead of taking WCP to task, you should direct your energies to the Kaieteur News and Defend CGX. OR you should write/speak with DeAlba, that Suresh and his gang may NOT be doing any favors for CGX.
The PPP government led by Jagdeo will have no compassion for CGX; those guys are serious operators, especially since Exxon is now their godfather! And especially that Kaieteur News is a powerful paper led by a powerful man in Guyana. You don't seem to understand the climate over there. You need to see the Youtube video where Jagdeo justified the approval of Payara; Good Lord, his explanation sounded like right out of the Exxon Playbook.
I think DeAlba needs to act fast, to save the licence of CGX. The present Guyanese Team and friends from Trent University, may not be up to the task.
Your admonition to WCP is mis-directed!
I understand where WCP is coming from. We're all reading the various materials "out there"!
AND a gentle reminder, I was the most vehemently opposed to the reverse stock consolidation (ON THIS FORUM).
I am not really sure why the other guy from Trent University is now on the board, unless it's a potential promise to hand out honorary doctorates to the PPP elites (they like that sort of thing). I can't see any other benefit. But don't you think Jagdeo and his Clique will read that angle. C'mon!
The game afoot is more complex. Things have changed since oil production began and all the politics of the last 22 months.
All I'm concerned about is the licence; I think CGX deserves to have it extended, especially since they were the ones who really "found" the oil, but did not have the ability to drill for it, and were forced out by their so-called friend Repsol from that licence.
Someone needs to get the ear of DeAlba. I wish I had a way of communicating with him!
