The Company owns approximately 49% of the common shares and 100% of the Class B shares in Main Street 1549 Proprietary Limited (Main Street 1549), which holds a 10% participating interest in the Exploration Rights for Block 11B/12B offshore the Republic of South Africa (Block 11B/12B). Block 11B/12B is located in the Outeniqua Basin approximately 175 kilometers (km) off the southern coast of South Africa. The block covers an area of 19,000 square kilometers (Km2) with water depths ranging from 200 meters in the north to 1,800 meters in the south.

(First post on the AFE board, but not on Stockhouse.)

Just wanted to say that I am glad there are a few people outside of Scandinavia following this stock. The near future looks very promising and even though all exploration is high risk, AFE seeems to be the place to be in the next few weeks, and months even should Luiperd be the big find we are all hoping for. 

With this string of prospects shoving on 2/3D, a hit in Luiperd would mean potential for +5 billion barrels of hydrocarbons. Having 10% of that is 500 M barrels at perhaps $5 a barrel when selling means we could be looking at perhaps a gain in the vicinity of 5-6x todays share price over the next year or so. 

Such an result would do wonders for my retirement plan!
