If I do not consider a company to be investment grade, it gets ZERO of my money.
If you are looking for a safe investment into a company that has a continuous profit stream, you are in the wrong place.
Speculation and risk come from ignorance and lack of information. If you understand a business thoroughly, you can de-risk it. If you do not understand a company, that is speculation.
