RE:RE:Whitecap in talks with CPG on takeover bid
I wonder too.

How do other holders of cpg feel about being taken over?

Personally, they would have to offer a crazzy take over bid. I would rather us buy own shares back at these prices. Than be taken over at these prices.

Didn't we just free up 1 billion in debt last year? Why don't we take 250 million of that freed up debt, and show investors management wasn't the crumbums everyone thought they were. All those seemingly horrible share dispositions, now starting to seem smart... well... If they bought back those shares at these rock bottem prices. Hell, if the divindend of ol was ever reinstated, the investment would be paid back in a year.

This would prove all their old decisions to be well thought out. Although shady and done on the backs of investors buying at the top. Would show management was looking after the long term health of the company, which is a good thing.

These are just my thoughts, what are yours?
