Question to the group - has anyone in their recent dialogs with management asked about whether rapid onset edibles (gummies, etc) are possible/in the pipeline? I imagine that type of product would be a crowd pleaser, and was surprised not to see it categorically represented.
I also noticed that. It would be great to get clarification on that. I assumed/hoped that Infuz20 edibles could be in the 'Innovative THC products' bucket, but not sure. A quick onset edible would be a category killer IMO (although it would be interesting to see if there is any onset lag on an edible being that it is in solid form)
Another thing to look at is how much Infuz20 could be harvested from dry bud. ~30% recovery. That stat on its own doesn't say much, because we don't know how much potential water soluble matter is there to start with, but for arguments sake if you put it on par with BNO (which is ~60% recoverable), then you have double the amount of oil over Infuz20. If you're gonna get popular with Infuz20, you are going to have a sh!tload of oil to find a place for.
If my independent recolection serves me well. I recall the interview Dolo had in NY after the TO conference where he fielded questions and commented on this subject.
He referred to a specific format when commenting on capsules that would be similar to Advil, Tylenol, Aleive (Ibuprofen/Acetaminophen) capsule pain relievers.
The format was to blend Infuz2O and BNO. Infuz2O for the fast acting onset and BNO for long lasting effects. I believe this format could be applied to all edibles and skin care products.
The video is no longer on YouTube and was part of the hosting company’s site. If I can locate it, I will post it again.
