Nemaska was never eligible for financing by IQ

Nemaska was never eligible for financing by IQ

And still isn t .buying out companies or bailing them out is not in their mandate .
it is not their holy mission .

The Key to Growth

To be eligible for venture capital invested directly by Investissement Qubec, your company must:

  • Be located in Qubec
  • Have an experienced management team
  • Operate in one of the following industries: manufacturing, information technology, life sciences or green technologies
  • Have an expectation of profitability in the short term (usually 24 months), strong growth potential and globally competitive advantages
  • Have a sound financial and operating structure

on these criteria Iq should never have been allowed to invest in nmx in the first place .their participation induced investors in error as to in what they were investing thinking it was kosher .
i think there is ground for a class action suit .a really classy one .
this is a mess .
i dont think it is IQ s mandate to invest in risky businesses and give them an air of legitimacy .they should have done their homework .

:)
