RE:Sigma aldrich 200 nm nanopowder 14,300$/kgIt's pretty amazing numbers, but in order to sell, you need a market, and the market is produced by having much lower prices.
At first, I am sure there will be some incredibly high margin sales, but this story hits it's prime when it is pumping out enough nano-silicon to compete with the price of graphite on a slightly pro-rated basis that accounts for the increase in value it provides.....That is down under $100/kg........The initial income will be good though, but this is a long term volume play, not margin, and Bernard, as he said in his recent interview, is really focussing on the niche markets where he can make very high grade, high margin products for customers in order to keep the accounts thick.
Cheers!

if we reach that price and a production of 2500 tonnes a year
we are talking could it be 3.5 bn ?worth of material at market prices ?
just took a price from their product catalogue - sigma aldrich

since nobody wanted to put a price on 1kg of purified nanosilicone .
must be wrong calculation
but it is an attempt
bulk orders = bulk millionairs
