Cannabis legislation potential, regardless of who winsFolks relying heavily on a Biden win risk being disappointed. First, he's going to lose. Secondly, folks are not making this vote a cannabis issue, that will be again left up to the states.
Further, Cannabis legislation changes are bigger than one party or another and 5 more states will be voting on it. Lastly, Trump has been more pogressive on prison reform than under 8 years of Obama and far more than Clinton. So when in a second term, it is more likely that Trump who has historically been very much a legalization advocate, can act more in line with conscience without worrying about alienating his base - who has largely been joining in the green rush shift (ie. Corey Gardnerp- R, in Colorado). Dems, if they actually do win, will undoubtedly act quicker on legalization but I don't think Trump would stand in the way of pro-cannabis legislation.
