NextSource Materials Inc. is a Canada-based battery materials development company. The Company is focused on supplying battery materials through the mining and value-added processing of graphite and other minerals. Its segments include mine development and BAF development. The Company’s principal business is the development of the Molo Graphite Mine (the Molo Mine) located near the town of Fotadrevo in the Province of Toliara, Madagascar. The Molo Mine has a production capacity of 150,000 tons per annum (tpa) of SuperFlake graphite concentrate. The Company is also developing a downstream graphite value-added business through the staged rollout of Battery Anode Facilities capable of large-scale production of coated, spheronized and purified graphite for direct delivery to battery and automotive customers. Banks won't finance an entire project like this, without guarantees / security etc.. They will have to do either a financing , a mix of financing and some bank debt, or partnership with someone with deeper pockets.

They really need a rificulously small amount of money for the CAPEX for phase 1. The reason why I am more bullish on things getting some traction is because of Mr Whalen's involvement. He comes from the finance/investing industry and is well aquainted with lots of people with deep pockets. He has raised a lot of money in the past. If anyone can get things moving , it will be him.

The deposit is there, we just have to negotiate a reasonable win:win deal. They finally have someone with the experience and connections to do this.
