Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Calling on Sane aphria investors

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Calling on Sane aphria investors Whether folks here choose to believe this or not, I spent some time this evening having a back and forth e-mail exchange with Mr. Simon. I am not his friend, and I am not name dropping to impress anyone here. What I have been doing is being forthright (but respectful) about many of the concerns we have shared on this board, inclusive of a poor communication strategy to frustration about these quarterly surprise write downs, ATMs, and most recently, CC Pharma reduced revenues. I asked why he is not buying shares. I even went so far to send a screenshot I took from the botched BNN interview. I captured the hand in front of the camera. Will it do any good? I have no idea. But Mr. Simon responded to my e-mails and although not directly addressing each concern, repeatedly stated "I hear you on the communication misfires and assure you I am taking steps to rectify." I I with this group for whatever it is worth. As for Mr. Merton...in my several discussions with him these past few months (e-mail and Zoom chats) I appreciate that others are questioning his being there during the Neufeld era; but my take is he is a strong believer in Aphria and an ardent supporter. He does not strike me as a shady character at all, rather a strong minded and opinionated accountant. I sincerely believe he wanted to see double digits as badly as the rest of us.

I fully realize the potential turbulance if the CFO is questioned let alone fired, but in my opinion he is not squeeky clean. As to Irwin, for 18 mil, we can do far better. Perhaps poaching TRUL staff would be a start. I hear that they earn less and certainly perform much better
