RE:Dumb and DumberMakes for entertaining reading. 7 billion dollar impairment.  Folks have overestimated the safety of their preferred shares.  This merger backstops them with cenovus equity and a larger combined entity.  The pieces fit together fairly well.  Sucks for Alberta jobs though.

$25 par call is a pipe dream - but it certainly has consumed a few posters.
