5 States voted and approved legal marijuanain the US clusterfuch they call an election. The Feds are getting pushed, pulled and dragged towards the inevitable and Canopy Growth is going to be a huge part of that. If you think we are big now, use your imagination and think 10 times the size and clout. About 18 million shares traded today on both sides of the border. Short covering possibly! You've got to have ballz of steel to be playing this short imho! Curious to know what reason everybody thinks for switching to the Nasdaq and dumpin' the NYSE! I'm thinking that Canopy is ready to rely on State rules to protect them from the Feds as they introduce more skus and brands through Acreage aka Canopy South. I can't be the only one that sees the lack of respect for Acreage and the deal they have inked. Canopy can rely on State law just like all the other US MSOs as long as they can stay inside the guidelines but having your listing pulled by big money manipulators is unconscienable. There is no doubt in my mind that Canopy is going to the States bigger than they are already and they have beverages and the profits they are capable of, in the crosshairs. I'm thinking that $28 million that Acreage just raised would build a nice modern bottling facility for Tweed beverages and some overcapacity for co-bottling. I did a couple of projections for Acreage shares being converted to Canopy shares, took some heat for it, but I am still convinced that at these prices, it looks lucrative. Never mind if this move to the Nasdaq is Canopy's own triggering event. The indisputable world leading marijuana company Canopy Growth shares are going to be in short supply but management has already prepared for an increase in sharefloat through Acreage and I can imagine Canopy getting back to near its old highs. Some smart American investors are moving into Canopy and listing on the Nasdaq might get some of those rich IT players interested in us too. So long NYSE and TSE too if you don't get your head right and understand that this is all legal in Canada and support it as such. glta and dyodd
