Free testing as a competitor?

Perhaps this question has already been asked, but with Walgreen's and Walmart offering free testing, what's the draw to go to a fee for service institute? 

yes, "insurance covered options available", but free is free. Is the turnaround for results from the free services heavily delayed? Is collection sites one of the few sites offering near-immediate results?

I just see this as a large roadblock to success. Thanks for your insight!
