Map to see where & how many collection sites being launchedSo QuestCap seems like buying these Cubes from different manufacturers. All we heard was Extreme Cubes, but this Cube picture is from WillScot and also is 8’x20’ walk-in structures.
Alcala Labs Director of Marketing David Hogan said customers will see results from the antibody test and the rapid diagnostic (antigen) test within 15-30 minutes, while results from the PCR (polymerase chain reaction) diagnostic test take 48-72 hours.
This news also include map with numbers as which State getting how many cubes. Next week should bring us lot more information. As I said November 12, 2020 webinar is a calculated date not some randomly picked number. Same-Day COVID-19 Testing Coming To Bloomington — In Giant Boxes
Bloomington’s College Mall will partner with a private company to offer coronavirus testing with same-day results.
A joint news release from parent company Simon and QuestCap said the location will offer up to 150 tests per day.
Meant to reduce long lines and wait times, Collection Sites’ coronavirus testing kiosk-like “cubes” are being deployed across the country over the next several weeks. Las Vegas-based Collection Sites is a newly-acquired QuestCap subsidiary. It’s partnered with San Diego-based Alcala Labs to process test results.
The cubes are temporary structures. In states with warmer climates, the cubes are 10’x10’ with walk-up windows where customers fill out paperwork and receive nose swabs or finger pricks for diagnostic and antibody tests.
According to Collection Sites, Bloomington will get two testing cubes: one at College Mall and one in Eastland Plaza. They will both be 8’x20’ walk-in structures, with up to six lab techs working inside.
Altogether, QuestCap and Collection Sites will open 37 testing cubes in Indiana in the coming weeks and months.
Collection Sites COO Tim Shelburn said Bloomington’s College Mall location will open by Nov. 18. Once open, appointments can be made online.
The cubes will offer three tests: one antibody test and two diagnostic tests.
Alcala Labs Director of Marketing David Hogan said customers will see results from the antibody test and the rapid diagnostic (antigen) test within 15-30 minutes, while results from the PCR (polymerase chain reaction) diagnostic test take 48-72 hours.
Hogan said Alcala will report results directly to counties and the Indiana State Dept. of Health daily.
Before insurance, antibody tests cost $59 and diagnostic tests are $179.
