RE:RE:RE:Zorg WisdomHi CG,
I don't feel a need to argue re: whether the left or the right in the U. S. is more dangerous. In my mind they are part of a single establishment going after the same goals. All corrupt and all dangerous. As a populist, Trump got in the way. He's now pursuing legal challenges to what he sees as illegal activities. The last time that happened was in 2000 when the election was stolen from Al Gore. I assume you were OK with it when Gore appealed to the Supreme Court.
Either way, at the end of the day, we agree on holding gold/gold assets. So in my mind, we all still have our marbles when it counts.
Your reference to Russia is interesting. Brought to mind Stalin's quote "I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this — who will count the votes, and how.” The quote is from Stalin's secretary Boris Bazhanov in his memoir from 2002. [Sounds like the character from Rocky the Flying Squirrel].
As for economic equality, Globalism over the past 40 years has had an impact, if you're a worker in Ukraine or Philippines or dozens of similar third world nations. When your wages go from $.10 to $1.00 per hour, the GINI index in your country looks great.
On the other hand, if you were in the U. S. or Canada working class during that period, both income and wealth inequality increased (I reference data from Thomas Piketty in his book "Capital in the 21st Century").
