RE:Shorts ;1rockit:
As an investor in penny stocks we have come to leaarn terms such as, "shaking the trees", "weak hands", "weak knees", "gunning for stops", etc, now you have "burning the shorts"....... RE:"A couple weeks ago I texted the company in regards to the short position. Just told them I thought the stock was being manipulated and I knew it wasn't the fault of the company. Lets hope they burn them bad . Personally im sick of these stocks being manipulated !!" ---------------------------------------------------
I have other "penny /juniors" (venture) stocks and some of them have (apparently) been the victim of shorters.
Typically/historically a halt on a Friday close signals the announcement of bad news. Since the halt of Loop continues over the weekend who knows?
My question to you (and others with any opinion on/of the shorters), is based on the short position (summarized below), how can the unsuspecting/trusting/believing in the venture exchange to aspire to a level playing field, detect/discern the nefarious activity of shorters. e.g. Jethro mentioned that the CEO, aware of their presence and is\was frustrated by their maniputlation of Loop. I got ridiculed for posting what I thought was spoofing; I only mentioned spoofing because I thought that it was part of the activity symptomatic of shorters.
I look foward to learning how to detect this activity and how to insulate the unsuspecting "investor/speculator".
Point being while we have a startup with IMHO what appears the be a solid business plan, the CEO (and others) must be incredibly frustrated to have to face the purloiners.
