AlaskaCAN Floating LNG ProposalHere is a bit of scoop. I ran into an article about a proposal for a floating LNG facility by a company named AlaskaCAN. It took me a while to figure out where it was because Google maps did not recognize the location name. But I finally found it and guess where. Right on the proposed route for the Prince Rupert Gas Transmission line that has been dormant since Petronas cancelled in Prince Rupert project on Lelu Island. So now the permit extension applied for last July by TransCanada Pipelines begins to make some sense.
