Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:RE:More on the Sweetwater deal
The US and Canada are very different. The US rules are very lax when compared to Canada already in states that are recreational. If you don't think Walgreens will have a national license over the current Cheech and Chong run facilities I think you are mistaken. The people who criticised Apha for not buying other LPs while ACB and Canopy did were wrong. Linton started the acreage acquisition and ACB is going down. Rushing to buy state licenses before federal legislation will result in the same write-offs we saw in Canada. Tic toc. Time will tell, but won't be till late 2021 or 2022. This was a good acquisition
