RE:CGX - UPSTREAM ONLINE

RE:CGX - UPSTREAM ONLINEThanks for sharing that link Oil_Run. To make the front page of upstreamonline.com is incredibly impressive (amazing what releasing a couple of PPT presentations oulining actual prospects will do for a company).

As for Kaieteur news articles (including a new one today about Demerera).... I think these are also great (any news for CGX is good news I think... we need the publicity, especially given our management will do virtually nothing on there own to promote the company). For way too many years, all we heard was flowery stories from CGX about there relationship with the government and people of Guyana. In essence, CGX has done virtually nothing for the people or government over the past decade. Furthermore, I do not think (based on my research) that anyone currently on CGX BoD/management was around for the border dispute... hence, CGX in essence is a completely different company than it was 15yrs ago! Consequently, I think its completely within both the government and newspapers right to start asking harder questions (especially if people think oil exisits on CGX land). Imagine reading stories in Guyana about how both NOC/IOC are looking to invest in Guyana for oil. Imagine reading stories in Guyana about how the US Secretary of State is making symbolic (and strategic) visits to both Guyana and Suriname because of oil. Then you read about how some junior company from Canada holds what could be amazing land and has done virtually nothing with it... I think I would be upset as well.

Looking ahead, when the hell will this new JV be announced? Junior joker companies like CGX do not make headline news on websites like upstreamonline.com without good reason... everyone and there dog knows about the massive potential of prospects like Kawa and Prospect F (especially in relation to Exxon and Apache offsetting wells). If guys like De Alba and Narine cannot secure a JV and money for wells into 2021, I think the government would be within there right to demand new managment and find someone who will. This is now bordering on insanity.
