RE:RE:EarningsOn a 'same store' basis (i.e. excluding volume from new acquisitions), cases declined only 8.6% vs. a year ago.... that means business has recovered to levels >90% of pre-covid levels, consistent with what the ceo said in august. very resilient results!
i see cash flow looks strong...don't quite understand the quarter-to-quarter movements in payments to non-controlling interests. anasthesia revenue flat from a year ago but costs ticked up.... assume this is because the new acquisitions propped up revenue (otherwise down on same-store basis) while the acquisitions meant taking on the associated costs.
cost per case about the same as a year ago...good.
anything else to note? stock shouldn't be down this much year to date. might be a good time for a small PE shop to make an offer. :)
