Agreed, it really came across as amateur hour and very unclear, which is why the market reacted as it did.

Whydunnit wrote: Having read Peter's answers on Agoracom I feel better about the move now.  But one new thing bugs me.  If Peter can say on Agoracom that the sole reason for going with leasing was to make a hell of a lot more money, why couldn't he have said that (in more business-like terms) in the press release?  Both ways he's putting out information to the public, so explaining that in the press release wouldn't have breached any securities regulations.  That might have prevented some of the panic selling and nose-diving.  People often say that Peter is an exec who takes care of the shareholders.  I don't think that was an example.

I still think the Q/A format of that release sucked, like a chatty high-school newspaper.
