Theralase Technologies Inc. is a Canada-based clinical-stage pharmaceutical company. The Company is engaged in the research and development of light activated compounds and their associated drug formulations. The Company operates through two divisions: Anti-Cancer Therapy (ACT) and Cool Laser Therapy (CLT). The Anti-Cancer Therapy division develops patented, and patent pending drugs, called Photo Dynamic Compounds (PDCs) and activates them with patent pending laser technology to destroy specifically targeted cancers, bacteria and viruses. The CLT division is responsible for the Company’s medical laser business. The Cool Laser Therapy division designs, develops, manufactures and markets super-pulsed laser technology indicated for the healing of chronic knee pain. The technology has been used off-label for healing numerous nerve, muscle and joint conditions. The Company develops products both internally and using the assistance of specialist external resources.

Even if it works on the other viruses it would be great!! There are tons of folks with all kinds of viral infections. Huge market. Low dose, safe, effective, long shelf life?

Dr. Coombe's work with H1N1, Zika, and the BLS-2 corona virus is great, but it's only his opinion that TLD-1433 will be effective vs. the BLS-3 corona virus. That's still speculative. He's a researcher dependent on grant money. Today's news sets him up for applying for an additional grant to study the potential for creating a vaccine.

Our hope is that his work with TLD-1433 gets noticed by a deep-pocketed agency or Pharma willing to fund his research further, because Theralase is not in a financial position to support his research. Meanwhile, today we reaped the benefits of his having reported the results he's had thus far. Will it have legs? Only time will tell.
