RE:RE:RE:Dicussion's OngoingHP, while I respect your insights and opinions on various oil and gas related topics, I think you may fundamentally not quite understand equity investing. Nvas common shares have a full $1 billion of liabilities attached to them. Against $1.5 b of assets and maybe 50,000 of gassy production. No one wants their shares my guy; they have close to zero value . Yes some of their assets have likely great value in them; but when the price tag to acquire said assets is having to assume 1 $ billion in liabilities and almost $800 million of those are monetary cash liabilities, any company would be straight up stoopid to go after their shares. It would be plain dumb. POU bought it's stake to negotiate with NVA due to the possibility of them needing to firesale off assets if the bank required them to do do so as not to breach any covenants. It was purely speculative on their part; I guarantee you POU has zero interest in making an offer for the remaining 80% of NVA shares. No other produce does either. Not to say a creative deal to work with NVA (along with topaz or tou or whoever) could not be in the works, but it would be royalty deal or some such; not a share takeover. It's straight up not happening my dude.
