One reason is every chronic I know is putting his own pot plants in the ground. No need to buy overpriced over hyped weed from big pharma and hedge fund types. Another reason is that this year alone another 100 LP's came online and over 200 more are in the pipeline. Pretty soon there will be enough weed going stale in storage to meet several years worth of demand. And that's not even counting all the weed from the legal home growers. People I know just give the stuff away to their friends these days. Which is great. The big LP's might want to turn their greenhouses back to growing tomatoes and cucumbers to boost their share prices.
anybody can grow kife...you get quality like Jack Haze from Supreme and an ounce will last you a year...the kife you're talking about has been sprayed with God knows what and it's only people that can't afford to buy anyway...so it's no big loss to MJ companies. Like someone said people can make wine, moonshine, whitelightning, yet beer stores and liquor control boards do all right. People will pay for quality...rather than pollute their lungs...
