RE:Possible Market Drivers for TXP at the Close OK People from OVER seven hundred (700+) reads, I get ZERO likes (aka thumbs up); what's up with that show of appreciation? LOL
Anyway; the highlight (for me anyway) is the Buffet type (aka herd) mentality of some investors. Meaning why would Premier Miton take a flyer on TXP, maybe, just maybe they want to sponsor the Siparia Deltones Steel Orchestra? Maybe, maybe not.
When a company with deep pockets that can afford to take a position in any flyer on the planet and sits on a "laglee" (check your Trini dictionary...LOL) stock, makes you wonder where the, "recom" came from.
Door no 1: own research department OR
Door No 2: A macotious offshore based MAJOR seeing their own timeline(s) slide and deciding to get in on the action with a hostile TO strategy in order to get some interim production while their own platforms can meet the TT demand.
Point being in this "arbying" strategy, majors have been known to have their TO departments keep a close eye (aka maco) the juniors and recemmend the most opportune time to "pounce". B4 some decides to head off into the sunset that is retirement.
