Its core operating areas of Wapiti and Pipestone in the Montney formation are located near the City of Grande Prairie, Alberta, approximately 600 kilometers northwest of Calgary. Its Montney Formation is a shale gas and shale oil resource. The Montney formation in the Wapiti area is a thick (200m+) section of hydrocarbon-charted fine-grained reservoir found at depths ranging from 2,500-3,500m.

There is a lot of wishful thinking on these boards about takeovers.  I'm not sure why.  NVA has no chance of someone taking them over.  However, there are vultures circling to pick over the carcass after bankruptcy.

The other curiousity is that recent takeovers have been all share deals close to the existing share price.  How is that exciting for an owner of NVA who is down 80%?  They need a 5 bagger to get back to even and the larger takeover company like TOU would have an upside ceiling of 30%.  

If that's what you are cheering for, then just sell your NVA and buy TOU (or similiar) now.  The favoured outcome that is being cheered for would be the same.

In fact, that would be a good decision compared to riding this into bankruptcy.
