Redefining Abcourt's Value Abcourt Mines doesn't have the cash to do any significant amount of drilling. Aside from the obvious need to drill at the Elder and SG mines, it would be great if the Discovery and Flordin properties could be heavily drilled to better define those resources. This is important!
Imagine how much value could be added to the company if the combined resources of these two properties (next to each other) could be proved to 1,000,000 ounces of gold. (measured, indicated and inferred). That would certainly help establish the reputation of Abcourt Mines as a company with a significant future. That would be quite an achievement.
It could happen!
The company needs a meaningful 43-101 resource estimate and a positive PEA.
If the SG vein on level 8 can be properly accessed as early as next Summer, we just might have a crack at some significant drilling programs later in the Fall or Winter of next year.
The production from the Elder mine is just not enough on its own.
We don't want any more dilution to fund big drilling programs because that would damage the upside potential of a little company like Abcourt. We are just too cheaply priced.
There is a positive effect that comes from company insiders holding, so many shares.
Management's significant holdings helps protect Abcourt from a cheap take over bid. This company should end up, worth much more, than our recent premium price of 24 cents.
But it is going to take some time to prove up the better value from its properties.
At least, for now, we can take some comfort in the knowledge that we do have a mill. That is the foundation that brings more value to all the mineable resources that do surround it.
We need to remain positive.
It looks like there may be another opportunity for the gold price to rebound again to previous levels.
Another vaccine now shows promise. But today, the resulting gold price sell off on the news, didn't last! It recovered quickly and all in one day. This may be an indicator that a downward trend is about to change!
At the very least, the price appears to be holding steady.
Gold traders do appear to be a fickle lot!
Neverless the market moves quickly , when it anticipates the change.
All the best! Java
