Again, why such a frenzy rush Friday (half day, 5M+ shares), when this was not even yet on in-vivo small animal model and maybe 3 years before commercialization? Simply because there was "COVID-19" in the header?
Theralase plans to commence an in-vivo small animal study later this year at another facility equipped to handle SARS-CoV-2 viruses and if successful commence human clinical studies in 2021, subject to suitable financing.
It was the total opposite common sense reaction when in 2017, TLT came up with amazing interim data of the first 4 patient (human). The stock price dropped from 0.40$ to 0.17$, like a rock. It happened that this was amazing data, for patients that had no more options other than having to go through a high risk 6-7 hours operation to have their bladder completely removed. One single dose allowed them to avoid the worse. Market reaction was disproportionate at the time, as P#5 and P#6 data demonstrated thereafter.
But hey! We're on the TMX-V. Don't expect common sense. SONA moved from 0.30$ to 15$ to then 3$ now. MIR went from 0.03$ to 0.70$ to now 0.25$! And I can go on and on.
TMX-V stocks get fair valuation only when they approach commercialization. For the rest, it's just manipulation, no matter the direction of the share price. So no need to bash on the management, neither be surprized of anything. You just have to undersatnd the environment in which you invest. Something, once again, that you have a hard time to assess. A bit lke your HCQ plots, etc ...
Don't know why I bother...
Again:
As bencro you were the #1 pumper on the board 8 YEARS ago @ 78 cents on only
petri dish results.
Now complete reversal.
I'm simply saying irrational exuberance has propelled many small stocks with COVID headlines like that into 2X, 4X, 6X territory.
Not good ol' TLT though.
