Vale > Tesla > PYR/HPQ?Well this might be interesting:
Someone posted a few weeks back about Vale being in talks with Tesla and others in the electric vehicle supply chain about securing nickel from its Canadian operations
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/miner-vale-talks-tesla-ev-213443526.html Elon has "urged miners to produce more nickel, a key ingredient in the batteries that power the company's electric cars. Musk offered a "giant contract" if supplies could be produced in an environmentally sensitive way." Vale using PYR burner torches could help in that regard.
Well it seems there's more to that story, and it could benefit PYR/HPQ on the powder front.
It turns out Vale, as part of their fossil fuel replacement strategy, "is instaling one of the country's [Brazil] largest battery energy storage systems to supply electrical demand", and the system is "composed of lithium-ion batteries manufactured by Tesla". Would be great to see this type of double whammy, inside-the-fence result that Peter has mentioned.
