Potential deal with major UK telco/ISP by end of year?I reached out to Rob Gamley this week and some new news to me was that LTE is currently in negotitations with another major UK customer. Apparently, there is potential to be under contract with this UK telco/ISP by end of year. This would be great news since Carlos was talking about reducing customer concentration. If it comes with a sizeable contract, that would make it even better!
Does anyone know which company this could be? I read an article recently outlining the UK full fibre market by company. I figure it has to be one of these below. A contract with Openreach would be such as game changer for LTE.
1) Openreach (BT): 3m homes currently with FTTP, plan 4.5m premises by march 2021, 20m by 2025-2030
2) Virgin Media: plan 2m homes
3) Hyperoptic: 400K homes currently with FTTP, plan 2m premises by 2021, 5m premises by 2024
4) CityFibre: 300K homes currently with FTTP, plan 1m premises by 2021, 8m premises by 2025
5) Community Fibre: 100K homes currently with FTTP, plan 1m premises by end of 2023
