Wrong content for the wrong market at the wrong time. You think condo owners in the fat-cat neighborhoods want your escort ads and cannabis content delivered to their homes for their kids to see? Stunningly, the confession buried in this recent announcement is that circulation has been "scaled back" since March. Uh-oh. Scaled back to how many? Does the current ratecard reflect this? Did NOW cut ad rates commensurate with not distributing the newspaper? What will the circulation audit reveal when it comes out?
