Monthly reporting on production, dill planning, updates etc. I believe even announcing a current drill program would have a positive effect on share price. Does anyone even have any details of the lawsuit and current status, whom is suing and took out the lein. Management needs to be more active in giving out info. and current status. We should not have to wait 3-4 months to find out about production numbers nor lawsuits, equipment failures etc. Give analysts a reason to be active and help promote because it is abundantly clear that the exec team is incapable of doing it. Hire a PR firm to manage this info. and co-ordinate how it is devulged to the S/H and public.
As far as McConnell being a S/H. Everyone knows he is a S/H - He and the other execs awarded themselves enough options over the years at cheap prices. They are major S/H's with very little skin in the game compared to the public S/H that bought at retail. Do I think McConnell cares about the price. I am beginning to think not. I have several hundred thousand $'s invested from before the roleback. However, as a public S/H I do not have the luxury of getting my shares at option prices - nor do I get paid several hundred thousand a year by the company in salaries. My reward only comes from share value, which these guys have diluted significantly.
With respect to Orion - Why do you think they are contemplating getting out with another sale. Probably for the same reasons we are discussing about inept management practices and performance. Heaven help us if they get frustrated and just start selling. Once again as Phoenix just stated. The MGMT Team needs to give something to the S/H's and Analysts to support this stock. That is always in the form of information and performance. Neither of which this team seems to understand. If they are incapable of doing so, maybe we need a new team.
