Canadian government assistance for airlines company

Canadian government assistance for airlines companyIn my opinion, this is what airlines in Canada need.

An interest-free loan based on anticipated losses over the next 6 months.

And a gradual reimbursement depending on the resumption of commercial activities, but before end of 2022.

For Air Canada I estimate the interest-free loan at $ 4 billion.

This will reduce the pressure on their short term liquidity.

And I remain convinced that Air Canada will be able to repay this loan before the second quarter of 2022.

In the case of Air Canada this will stabilize the share price around $ 24-25.

Hope to see this news this week...including the reduction of the quarantine to 7 days or less, with quick Covid test already available.

We have to try something, instead of waiting and waiting.

Still long !
