takeover bid
Significant Material news like big contrats,etc
high demand for the stock on any particular day, could be simply a short squeeze, etc

So it's not always true that a stockprice increase will be stoped because of PP.

We tend to forget that stockprice is directly affected by supply and demand at any moment of active trading regardless of whatever we think...
